KINJA!!!
Here in Northern VT, combined with our previous relatively heavy snow has turned our road into the deepest soup the locals have seen in 20 years. I am completely unable to leave the house in the FieSTa, well, I can go to the end of the driveway... and I just hauled an AWD Honda CR-V from Massachusetts out of the mud with the tractor and suggested that they turn around, as it just gets worse farther down... These pictures were taken in the daylight, it is if anything, worse now, but it’s hard to see... Only 4x4 trucks moving tonight. I neglected to take a picture of the really soupy stuff... but trust me, it’s bad.

Mud season is here to kill us all! It’s crazy how bad it is getting this year.

yeah, no shit. I’m less than a mile from pavement, but in the FieSTa, I can’t get there.... Supposed to freeze tonight and tomorrow, see how that works out...

I just opened the weather app to see if there’s a chance it will get cold enough to get one more ITT in next weekend and apparently it’s thawing fast enough to cause some flooding issues:

Man, I hate when this happens so early that it will soon be an awful, icy version of that. There’s practically nothing the town can do to make it better, at the moment.
There’s a nice long dirt road between my house and my parents, and it often gets like that in the spring. My solution in the E46 has been
when in doubt, flat out
and just take it like a rally stage. Slow means getting stuck for sure. OK maybe I wouldn’t do that over and over to my current one, but the old one, I did treat like a rally car. I didn’t venture that way today, I wonder if it got super muddy though.
